POST CARE Instructions

Proper care required During the healing process to achieve optimum results:

● Avoid the beach, pool, sauna, and steam room.

● No makeup or skincare products to be used on treated area.

● Do not rub, scratch, or pick at scabs. Let them naturally peel off.

● No facials, chemical and laser treatments, or microdermabrasions..

● Avoid Retin-A (or other retinoids), chemical peels, and microdermabrasions around treated area once healed.

Eyebrows

● Avoid direct sunlight.

● Avoid sweating during the healing process. If necessary use a headband to reduce sweat build up. With clean material dab procedure area to keep the area dry and clean.

  • monitor area for oozing of lymph, blood and plasma secretion. Press dry gently but firmly with a tissue to remove fluid. if bodily fluid remain on procedure area, a thick scab will develop and inhibit color saturation. oozing may occur for up to 2-3 days.

Eyeliner:

● Keep salt intake to a minimum.

● Swelling may peak the morning following your procedure.

● If mucus has formed, the lashes may become stuck together. Gently rinse the area with water.

● Do not get ointment into eyes. Should ointment get into your eyes rinse with cool water.

Lips:

● Keep lips moisturized at all times.

● DO NOT eat any citrus fruits and hot, spicy, oily or sea foods.

● No kissing or stretching of mouth.

● Drink from a straw if possible for 5-7 days or until healed. Due to Herpes Simplex I Virus (cold sores on outer edge of mouth), a breakout of lesions may occur around the area of application. I understand that this breakout may occur and I accept the risks and complications that may be involved.

Please note that the procedure area will appear darker and bolder after initial appointment, but will lighten 30% - 70% to a more natural look (This will vary for every individual.) This is common amongst all permanent cosmetic procedures. There are no written or implied guarantee if you do not follow the pre and post care instructions

General Information

● The area may be swollen for up to 72 hours. You may ice down the area with an ice pack inside of a moistened paper towel.

● Darkness, thickness, and unevenness of shape immediately after procedure is normal due to swelling.

● Dryness will occur 3-5 days after the procedure. When flaking/scabbing begins you may rinse the area gently with cold water. If a scab appears do not pick, peel, or scratch as color may heal unevenly and infection and scarring become a risk.

● On day 3 apply one drop of ointment in the morning and night for 2-3 days or until flaking and scabbing has finished. Less ointment will be needed for oily skin. Tenderness, dryness, and itching are normal during the healing process. DO NOT over saturate the area or use any other creams, oils, ointments, or antibiotic preparations. Ointment will be provided to you by your technician. Please use as needed.

● Once flaking and scabbing is done color will appear very light and may be pinkish due to the tenderness of tissue (this is normal.) Allow the inside (dermal) layer of skin to heal and the color will slightly darken after the next 4 weeks.

● In some cases due to scarring (from previous tattooing), large pores, oily skin, certain skin types, or medications, color may not appear at all.

● It is unforeseen how much color your body will retain. permanent make up is a layering process. it is unknown how much pigment will saturate into your skin. You may need a second, third, or fourth application to meet your expectation of darkness to your desired preference.

Please schedule your touch up appointment between 5-8 weeks from your initial procedure. Touch ups done outside of this time frame will be charged at a regular price. Touch ups are highly recommended

***Please call if the following symptoms occur: excessive swelling that moves outside of the procedural area, inflammation, itchiness, irritation of the tissue around the procedure area after 72 hours. oozing or yellow secretion or sharp pain in the procedure area due to environmental bacteria during healing period, there is always a low risk of infection.
